These Seller Terms apply when you sell a product on GetXtra Scripts Store (the "Store"), operated by GetXtra Scripts Store (Gx Store, Rampura dabri, Sikar Road , Jaipur , Rajasthan Pincode - 303704) ("we", "us"). Please read them fully. By ticking "I accept the Seller Terms" when you start selling, you agree to them. They are in addition to the Store's general terms and privacy policy, which also apply to you as a user of the Store.
The short version
- You sell only code you wrote or have the full right to sell.
- We review your account (manual KYC), every listing and every version before buyers see it.
- The Store keeps 20% of each sale, worked out on the price before GST; you get 80%.
- Each sale is held 7 days, then you can ask for a payout from ₹500; we send it by UPI or bank transfer and give you the UTR.
- Refunds come out of your earnings, also after a payout.
- You support your buyers. We handle payments, invoices, licence keys, downloads and signed updates.
This summary helps you read the terms; the numbered sections below are what applies.
1. Definitions
- Seller, "you": the person or business that holds an approved seller account.
- Product: software you list on the Store — source code, scripts, themes, plugins, templates, apps, their documentation and any files delivered with them.
- Listing: the product page on the Store — name, descriptions, features, requirements, price, images, demo links.
- Version: a ZIP file of the Product with a version number and release notes.
- Buyer: a customer who buys a licence to a Product on the Store.
- Sale Amount: what the Buyer paid for your Product, after any coupon or discount, excluding GST and other taxes.
- Commission: the Store's share of the Sale Amount (section 8).
- Earnings: the Sale Amount minus the Commission, as shown in your seller ledger.
- Refund Window: the 7 days after a sale during which its Earnings are held.
2. The agreement
2.1 These terms form a contract between you and us. They start when you accept them and continue until ended under section 16.
2.2 You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you accept for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that business.
2.3 The Store sells your Products to Buyers in its own name: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and the licence key, and delivers the files. You appoint us to do so on these terms. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee, partner, agent or joint venturer.
2.4 We record the version of these terms you accepted, with the date, time and IP address.
3. Seller account and KYC
3.1 One account. You sell through one seller account linked to your customer account. Keep your sign-in details secret; you are responsible for everything done with your account. Turn on two-step sign-in where offered.
3.2 KYC. Before approval you give us true, complete and current details: your name as on PAN, PAN, an ID proof, your address and mobile number, a cancelled cheque or bank statement, and where payouts should go. A GSTIN is optional. For Aadhaar, upload only a masked copy; we never ask for or store a full Aadhaar number.
3.3 Manual review. We check the documents by hand. We may ask for more information, refuse an application, or approve it, at our reasonable discretion. When we refuse, we tell you why when we can.
3.4 Keeping details current. Update your details when they change. A change of your PAN, name or payout account is checked again before the next payout, and we may hold a payout until it is verified.
3.5 Name shown to buyers. Your seller name is shown on your Products as "Sold by". It must not be misleading or infringe anyone's rights.
4. Your products and your rights
4.1 You confirm, for every Product, Listing and Version you send, that:
- you wrote it, or you hold all rights needed to sell it on these terms (including the right to grant the Buyer licences in section 7);
- it does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, design, trade secret, privacy or other right of anyone;
- any third-party code, fonts, images or libraries in it are used under licences that allow this, and their licence terms and notices are included;
- it is not "nulled", cracked, pirated, resold without permission, or a copy of another product with cosmetic changes.
4.2 You keep the copyright and all other rights in your Products. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as the Product is on the Store and afterwards for existing Buyers, to store, copy, test, sign, deliver and make available your Products to Buyers, to show your Listing, name and screenshots, and to use them to promote the Store and your Products.
4.3 You may sell your Products elsewhere too. We do not ask for exclusivity.
5. Listings and review
5.1 Every new Listing and every change to a Listing is sent to us for review. Buyers keep seeing the current approved Listing until we approve a change.
5.2 Your Listing must be accurate and honest: real features, real requirements (PHP version, database, hosting, extensions), real screenshots of the Product, and a working demo where you give a demo link. Do not promise what the Product does not do.
5.3 We may refuse a Listing or a change, or ask you to change it. We may also edit the presentation of an approved Listing — for example search titles and descriptions, the category, badges, formatting, spelling — without changing what it says about the Product. Descriptions are cleaned of scripts, embeds, forms and styles.
5.4 A Product goes live when it has an approved Listing and an approved Version, and your seller account is approved. We may take a Listing down at any time if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms or the law, or a complaint about it is being looked at.
5.5 Review times are a target, not a promise: usually one or two working days.
6. Product rules
6.1 Every Version must:
- install and work as described on a supported server, with an installation guide inside the ZIP;
- be complete source code that the Buyer can read and change — no encoded or obfuscated PHP (for example ionCube) unless the Listing says so clearly and we agreed to it in writing;
- contain no malware, backdoors, hidden admin accounts, cryptominers, tracking or "phone home" code that is not disclosed in the Listing, and no code that disables the product remotely;
- not collect Buyers' or their users' personal data except as the Product's documented purpose needs;
- if it checks licences, use the Store's licence API, so that a Buyer's licence key from the Store works.
6.2 We test Versions before approving them, but our test does not make us responsible for your Product. If we find a serious problem in a live Version — a security hole, data loss, malware — we may remove it from sale and from updates at once, tell Buyers, and put the previous Version back as current.
7. Licences given to buyers
7.1 Buyers receive licences on the Store's standard licence terms shown at checkout: a Regular licence for one website, and, where you offer it, an Extended licence for the uses the Store describes. Each licence comes with a licence key issued by the Store, the update and support periods shown on the Listing, and the right to change the code for their own use.
7.2 You must honour these licences. You may not charge Buyers again for what the licence includes, revoke a valid licence, or add terms that take rights away from Buyers.
7.3 Licence keys, activations and downloads are managed by the Store. We may revoke a licence for a refunded or fraudulent order, or for a Buyer's serious breach of the licence.
8. Prices, commission and taxes
8.1 Prices. You set the price of each licence within the limits the Store allows (currently ₹99 to ₹500,000). Prices on the Store include GST where the Store charges it. A price change is a Listing change and is reviewed. The Store may run its own coupons, sales and bundle discounts; your Sale Amount is then the discounted price.
8.2 Commission. The Store keeps a Commission of 20% of the Sale Amount for every sale of your Product, unless we agreed a different rate with you in writing (shown in your seller account). It covers payment processing, invoicing, file hosting and delivery, licence keys, update signing, the Store's own buyer support, and marketing. Any referral commission the Store pays to its affiliates is paid from the Store's share, not from yours.
8.3 Taxes. The Store is the seller of record to the Buyer: it charges, collects and pays the GST on the sale and issues the tax invoice. Your Earnings are worked out on the Sale Amount without GST.
8.4 You are responsible for your own income tax and, if you are registered for GST, for any GST on what you receive from us. If the law requires us to deduct tax at source (TDS / TCS) from what we pay you, we deduct it, pay it to the government and give you the certificate. If you are registered for GST and tell us your GSTIN, you agree to raise the documents the law needs for your supply to us.
8.5 We may change the standard Commission with at least 30 days' notice by email (section 18). A change applies only to sales made after it takes effect.
9. Payouts
9.1 Every paid sale of your Product appears in your seller ledger with the Sale Amount, the Commission and your Earnings. It is held for the Refund Window of 7 days. After that, if the order is still paid, it becomes "ready".
9.2 You may ask for a payout from your seller page when your ready Earnings are at least ₹500. One payout request can be open at a time.
9.3 We send payouts by UPI or bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS) to the account in your seller details, in the name you gave in your KYC, usually within 7 working days of your request. We record the UTR or transaction reference and email it to you. The Store never transfers money automatically.
9.4 We may hold or reject a payout request, telling you why, if your details cannot be verified, the account does not match your KYC, a transfer bounces, a complaint or chargeback is open on your Products, or we reasonably suspect fraud. Earnings in a rejected request go back to "ready" unless they are cancelled under section 10.
9.5 Check every payout when you receive it and tell us about any mistake within 30 days. We correct mistakes in either direction; an overpayment may be taken off later payouts.
9.6 Payouts are in Indian rupees to Indian accounts. Bank charges on your side are yours.
10. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes
10.1 Buyers may ask for a refund under the Store's refund policy. We decide refund requests, and we may also refund to settle a chargeback, a duplicate payment, a Product that does not work as described, or a complaint we reasonably accept.
10.2 Refunds come out of your Earnings. When an order with your Product is refunded or charged back, its Earnings are cancelled. If they were already paid out to you, the same amount is added to your ledger as a negative line and taken off your next payout. A negative balance carries forward to later sales.
10.3 If your balance stays negative for 90 days, or your account ends with a negative balance, you agree to pay it to us within 15 days of our written request.
10.4 Before we refund because a Product does not work, we will normally give you a chance to help the Buyer, usually 2 working days, unless the problem is serious or the law or the payment provider requires us to act at once.
11. Versions and one-click updates
11.1 You publish a new Version by uploading its ZIP with a version number higher than the current one and release notes. Each Version is reviewed like a Listing.
11.2 When we approve a Version it becomes the current download for new Buyers. We then sign it with the Store's private signing key, so that installed copies with a valid licence can install it as a one-click update. The signing key belongs to the Store and is never shared; you cannot sign Versions yourself.
11.3 Updates must not remove features Buyers paid for, must keep Buyers' data, and must say in the release notes what changed, including anything a Buyer must do before or after updating.
11.4 You provide updates for at least the free update period shown on the Listing, where needed to fix bugs and security problems and to keep the Product working on the stated requirements.
12. Support for your buyers
12.1 You support Buyers of your Products for the support period shown on the Listing: questions about installation and use, and fixing bugs. Answer within 2 working days. Use the support email in your seller details or the Store's support tickets when we pass one to you.
12.2 The Store supports payments, invoices, licence keys, downloads and updates. Questions about your Product's code are passed to you.
12.3 Paid extras you offer outside the Store (installation, customisation) are between you and the Buyer, but you must not send Buyers away from the Store to buy the Product itself elsewhere.
13. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- buy your own Products, or ask others to, to raise sales or ratings, or post or arrange fake reviews;
- contact Buyers to move a sale off the Store, or use Buyer details for marketing they did not agree to;
- list illegal software, or software for spam, hacking, unauthorised scraping, phishing, gambling where it is illegal, adult content, or to evade law or platform rules;
- upload anything that could harm the Store, its servers, Buyers or their visitors;
- misuse the review, refund or payout process, or give false KYC information;
- use the Store's name or logo except to say your Product is sold here.
14. Complaints about your product
14.1 If someone tells us your Product infringes their rights, we may take the Listing down while we look into it, tell you, and ask for your response. We may share the complaint and your contact details with the person complaining where the law allows it.
14.2 If we conclude, acting reasonably, that the complaint is valid, we may remove the Product, refund affected Buyers from your Earnings (section 10) and end these terms.
14.3 To report a problem with a product on the Store, write to support@getxtra.in with the details.
15. Buyer data and privacy
15.1 Your KYC documents are stored privately on the Store's server, outside the public web folder, and only the Store owner can open them. We use your details to verify you, pay you, meet tax and legal duties and prevent fraud, and keep them for as long as the law requires after your account ends. See the Store's privacy policy for your rights.
15.2 Buyers are customers of the Store. If we share a Buyer's name, email or domain with you to support them, use it only for that support and keep it secure, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law. Delete it when you no longer need it for that purpose.
16. Suspension and ending the agreement
16.1 You may stop selling at any time by asking us to take your Products off sale. Existing Buyers keep their licences, downloads and updates of the Versions they are entitled to.
16.2 We may suspend your seller account or remove Products, with a reason, if you break these terms, your KYC turns out to be false, there are repeated complaints or refunds, a Product is unsafe, or we must do so by law. While suspended, your Products are not sold. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice for any reason, or at once for a serious breach.
16.3 When these terms end, we pay out your remaining ready Earnings after the Refund Window of the last sale, less any refunds, chargebacks and amounts you owe us. Sections 4.2 (for existing Buyers), 7, 9.5, 10, 15, 17 and 19 continue after the end.
17. Warranties, indemnity and liability
17.1 You are responsible for your Products and what your Listings say. You agree to make good any loss, damage, cost or claim (including reasonable legal fees) we or a Buyer suffer because your Product infringes someone's rights, breaks the law, contains harmful code, or because you break these terms.
17.2 We provide the Store "as is". We do not promise any number of sales, that the Store is always available, or that every payment provider is always working.
17.3 To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or goodwill, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the Commission we earned from your sales in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
18. Changes to these terms
18.1 We may change these terms. We email you at least 30 days before a change that reduces your Earnings or rights takes effect, and post the new version on this page with a new version number. Other changes take effect when posted.
18.2 If you do not agree to a change, you may stop selling before it takes effect (section 16.1). Continuing to sell after that date means you accept the new version.
19. Law, disputes and notices
19.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the place of our registered address have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any law that gives you a different right.
19.2 Before going to court, either side first writes to the other and tries in good faith to settle the dispute within 30 days.
19.3 We send notices to the email of your account. You send notices to support@getxtra.in. Keep your email working.
19.4 If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right at once does not give it up. You may not transfer your seller account or these terms without our written consent; we may transfer them to whoever takes over the Store.
19.5 These terms are written in English. A translation is for convenience; the English version applies.
Seller Terms version 1.0, effective 24 October 2026.
