Point of Sale (POS) System runs the counters of a shop or a small chain on your own cPanel hosting or VPS, in Hindi and English. Fast barcode billing from the keyboard in a browser register on a PC, tablet or phone; GST bills on thermal or A4 paper; registers that keep billing when the internet is down and send every bill once; shifts and cash with Z reports; schemes and coupons; customers, points and khata (udhaar); stock and purchases. It helps with GST (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, e-invoice and e-way bill files) and with the DPDP Act 2023.

Point of Sale (POS) System runs the counters of a shop or a chain on your own cPanel hosting or VPS, in Hindi and English on every screen. Each counter is a browser register on a PC, tablet or phone.

When the internet or the server is down, the register keeps billing with its own catalogue, prices, schemes and cashier PINs, and sends every bill once when it is back.

One edition with trade modes for kirana, chemist, apparel, electronics and wholesale, one cron line, no Composer, and everything works without AI.

Fast billing at the counter

  • Keyboard-only billing with scanner detection, search in Hindi, English and Roman Hindi, quantity codes, quick keys for loose goods and weighing scales.

The live demo shows the full logo in the header; on your site the built-in icon next to your site name, the browser tab icon and the phone app icons are now this product's own icon.
Admin → Settings → Branding: a logo and favicon guide next to the upload fields (size, ratio, format, file size and colours for the logo, the dark-mode logo and the favicon) with the ready-made files to download, in Hindi and English.

A licence and name release (it includes 1.0.2, which this store skipped): no change to how the product works.
Licence: the GetXtra Commercial Licence (the LICENSE file) replaces the MIT licence of earlier packages. It is not open source: one licence key per installation from the GetXtra store; no resale, sharing or giving away of the code. Third-party parts keep their own licences.
The developer is now named GetXtra Digital everywhere: the credit "Developer: GetXtra Digital" in the footer and the admin, the licence, the README and the buyer guide. The credit may not be removed or hidden; the Branding switch in Admin, Settings turns off only the "Powered by GetXtra" line.

Does billing stop when the internet goes?
No. Each register keeps its store's catalogue, prices, schemes and cashier PINs and bills offline; every bill reaches the server once when the connection is back. Returns and khata payments need the register online.
Does it file GST returns?
No. It prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B data, e-invoice and e-way bill files and a Tally export; you or your CA check and file them. It helps with GST; you and your adviser remain responsible.
Which printers and scanners work?
Any keyboard-mode barcode scanner; ESC/POS thermal printers (58 / 80 mm) and the cash drawer on them through the GX Print Helper; any printer through the browser's print dialog; serial scales with common protocols. The guide's hardware list says how each was tested (with fake devices and protocols); run the hardware check with your own device.
Can I run several stores and counters?
Yes, as many as you like in one installation, each register with its own bill numbers.
Is it in Hindi?
Every screen, receipt and the cashier card are in Hindi and English; each person chooses.
Does it connect to card machines?
Card payments are typed from your bank's machine slip. Cloud card machines are planned for 1.1.0.
Is there stock and Inventory?
It keeps its own stock with purchases, counts and transfers. Linking to the GetXtra Inventory product is planned for 1.1.0.
Where is my data kept?
In your own database on your hosting. GetXtra does not receive it.
