Licence: the GetXtra Commercial Licence (the LICENSE file) replaces the MIT licence of earlier packages. It is not open source: one licence key per installation from the GetXtra store; no resale, sharing or giving away of the code. Third-party parts keep their own licences.
The developer is now named GetXtra Digital everywhere: the credit "Developer: GetXtra Digital" in the footer and the admin, the licence, the README and the buyer guide. The credit may not be removed or hidden; the Branding switch in Admin, Settings turns off only the "Powered by GetXtra" line.

Is it ABDM-certified?
No. ABDM (ABHA, Scan & Share, sharing and receiving records) works with the NHA sandbox behind a switch that is off by default. Going live needs your hospital's own ABDM registration and the NHA's review of this software version; live ABDM and NHCX claims are planned for 1.1.0. It helps with ABDM readiness.
Does it give medical advice or diagnose?
No. It is not a medical device. Early-warning scores, prescription checks and AI drafts are aids for qualified staff; the doctor decides and signs.
Does it file GST returns?
No. It makes bills of supply and tax invoices from GST rules kept as data and gives the registers and a Tally export; you or your CA check the rules and file the returns. It helps with GST.
What happens when the Wi-Fi or the server goes down?
The ward tablet keeps an encrypted copy for 12 hours and sends the entries when the network is back; the hourly downtime pack prints the census, allergies and due doses, and back-entry marks what was entered late.
Which lab analysers, printers and scanners work?
Analysers that export result files (CSV, ASTM or HL7), keyboard-mode barcode readers, and printers with their own driver through the browser's print dialog. They were tested with fake devices and protocols, not with a named brand on real hardware; try yours with a test patient first.
Is it in Hindi?
Every screen, print, message and the patient portal are in Hindi and English; each person chooses.
Can I run several hospitals or clinics?
Yes, as many branches as you like in one installation, each with its own GSTIN, number series, beds and staff; each person sees only their branches.
Is patient data safe?
Records open only for the patient's care team, identifiers are encrypted and masked, every look is logged, prints and exports carry the person's name, and bulk exports need an approval. It helps with the DPDP Act 2023.
